Notice of Public Hearing

The Rush Township Zoning Commission of Champaign County Ohio will hold a public hearing concerning proposed amendments to the Rush Township Zoning Resolution on August 15, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the Rush Township Building. The building address is 148 S Gregory St., North Lewisburg, OH 43060.

The proposed amendments, initiated by motion of the Zoning Commission, propose to amend Article XII Definitions by adding a definition for “Nursing Home”, amends Section 510 Off-Street Parking Requirements by adding a method to reduce the number of off-street parking spaces required when demand is unusually low, amends the number of off-street parking spaces required for “hospital, clinic, nursing home, or similar institution”, and amends the Official Schedule of District Regulations Column 3 of the R-2 Medium Density Residential District by adding “Nursing Home” to the list of conditional uses.

The text and map(s) of the proposed amendment will be available for examination at the Woodstock Post Office between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM for a period of 10 days prior to the public hearing. The building address is 111 Burnwell St., Woodstock, OH.

After the conclusion of such hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Rush Township
Board of Trustees for its action.
